• Utilize sophisticated geotechnical software for numerical modeling (e.g., Plaxis, FLAC, Rocscience Suite).
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Provide expert geotechnical advice and peer review for internal and external clients.
• Manage geotechnical projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality control.
• Lead and mentor junior geotechnical engineers and technical staff.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client liaison.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in geotechnical engineering principles and technologies.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on geotechnical aspects.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with significant experience in the mining sector.
• Proficiency in advanced geotechnical analysis and numerical modeling software.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, engineering geology, and hydrogeology.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
