Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead AI/ML initiatives from Port Elizabeth. You will drive the full data science lifecycle, from data exploration and engineering to model development and deployment, in a fully remote setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python or R skills with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow, and a track record in designing experiments and communicating results to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, CS, Math or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with AI/ML project work.
• Proficiency in Python or R with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics.
• Perform complex data analysis, feature engineering on large datasets.
