Placements24 is seeking a Senior Product Developer - Cosmetics to lead end-to-end development of innovative cosmetic products in a remote-first setting. You will conceptualize formulations, test safety and performance, and drive product launches across skincare, makeup, and haircare lines.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field with 8+ years of cosmetic development experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills in a remote

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cosmetic product development with a strong launch portfolio.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and analytical testing methods.
• Proven ability to develop products across skincare, makeup, and haircare.
• Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in formulation, data analysis, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of new cosmetic products from ideation to market launch.
• Formulate and test products to meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer needs in cosmetics.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
• Source and evaluate raw materials and packaging components.
