Placements24 is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to join a fully remote, global pharmaceutical team based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will oversee trial conduct at sites, ensure GCP compliance, and support investigators and staff from your home office.

The role requires 5+ years of CRO/pharma CRC experience, strong CTMS/EDC skills, and excellent communication; occasional travel for site visits is expected. A remote-friendly environment with competitive remuneration is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive CRC experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with multiple therapeutic areas and trial phases.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for essential in-person site visits.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage all aspects of trial conduct at assigned sites, ensuring protocol compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Perform remote site monitoring, including source data verification and essential document review.
• Serve as primary contact for investigators, study coordinators, and site staff; provide ongoing support and training.
• Track trial progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate data cleaning with data management teams and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare for and participate in site audits and regulatory inspections; contribute to documentation development.
