Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
• Develop and integrate APIs for various financial services and platforms.
• Implement security and data protection measures in line with financial industry standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack selection.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with financial technologies and concepts is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
