Placements24 is seeking a high-caliber Remote Structural Analysis Engineer with seismic design expertise. You will perform advanced dynamic analyses, assess seismic performance, and develop strategies per international codes in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

The role requires a strong background in earthquake engineering, experience with major FEA packages, and the ability to mentor others while delivering clear technical reports from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Structural or Earthquake Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years in structural analysis and seismic design.
• Experience with dynamic/time-history/response spectrum analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced linear and non-linear dynamic structural analysis focusing on seismic loads.
• Conduct seismic performance assessments for existing and new structures.
• Develop seismic design strategies per international codes (ASCE 7, Eurocode 8).
• Use FEA software for complex modeling tasks (ABAQUS, ANSYS, SAP2000, ETABS).
• Collaborate with designers to implement seismic requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports on methodologies and results.
• Mentor junior engineers in seismic analysis and design.
• Engage in virtual meetings and design reviews with a global team.
