Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This is remote work within South Africa, with a focus on thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality interactions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of SDR/BDR experience, preferably in agency or SaaS.
• Strong written communication and personalized outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Familiarity with Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
