Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating a strong first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will rely on outbound sequences through email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain Salesforce/SalesLoft records and collaborate with Account Executives to drive qualified discovery calls.

Qualifications

• 2 years SDR/BDR experience required.
• Agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and personalization of outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
