Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel, researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to create initial impressions for Blacksmith Agency.

As a Sales Development Specialist, you will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining quality touches and a thoughtful outbound approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts and ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
