Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery meetings with qualified prospects, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will own outbound outreach using email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain your own pipeline in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and collaborate with the sales team to tighten feedback loops and improve messaging.

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executions.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
