Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will craft thoughtful outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high touch quality.

2 years in an SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus).
Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on the ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
