Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful, personalized outreach rather than mass spam, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume goals while keeping touchpoints

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
