Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who excel at opening doors and building initial pipelines. You will research accounts, identify key decision makers, and craft personalized outreach that creates a strong first impression of Blacksmith with potential clients.

You will manage outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, book discovery calls for Account Executives, and maintain clean Salesforce and SalesLoft data.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
