Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a highly experienced Remote Sanitation Program Manager to oversee sanitation protocols across multiple sites. This fully remote role requires strategic thinking to develop and manage robust programs remotely, in line with industry standards and safety regulations.

You will work with site managers and cleaning teams, use digital tools to monitor performance, provide guidance, and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in sanitation management, environmental health, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation principles, cleaning technologies, and health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and operations remotely using digital tools and communication platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine comprehensive sanitation policies and procedures for various operational environments.
• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of sanitation programs across all designated sites through remote monitoring and support.
• Conduct virtual audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance and training to on-site teams and managers regarding sanitation best practices.
• Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets related to sanitation supplies, equipment, and external services.
