Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, or environmental compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning processes, chemical safety, waste characterization, and disposal methods.
- Experience developing environmental management plans and waste reduction strategies.
- Strong remote communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with data analysis and environmental management software.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Understanding of environmental legislation (national and local).
- Experience with emergency response planning for industrial incidents is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement specialized industrial cleaning programs and waste management strategies for diverse client sites.
- Conduct remote assessments of industrial environments to identify cleaning challenges and waste management opportunities.
- Provide expert technical guidance on the safe handling, containment, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste.
- Oversee compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and permits.
- Advise on the selection and application of appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques for specialized industrial processes.
- Develop training materials and conduct remote training sessions for client personnel on industrial cleaning and waste management procedures.
- Monitor waste streams and cleaning efficacy, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, regulations, and best practices in industrial cleaning and environmental management.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents related to industrial cleaning or waste management, providing remote support and guidance.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure effective and sustainable operations.
