Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will identify decision makers, craft personalized outreach, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce and SalesLoft while collaborating with Account Executives to book discovery

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or SaaS/agency experience.
• Strong ability to personalize outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
• Experience with outbound tools and sales orchestration platforms.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
