Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline nationwide. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, while creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition, and smart communication using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Excellent written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Experience using Salesforce and managing your own sales pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
