Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our South Africa team. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery calls to fuel our pipeline.

You'll leverage tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach at volume, while maintaining high-quality touches that reflect Blacksmith Agency’s approach.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and multi-channel outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and provide feedback to the sales team.
