Placements24 is seeking a Remote Risk Management Specialist to lead the development and execution of risk frameworks from home, supporting Centurion and beyond. The role emphasizes independent work, strong regulatory know-how, and proactive risk mitigation across financial services operations.

You will identify threats, monitor KRIs, and coordinate with stakeholders to foster a risk-aware culture while staying current on industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit in financial services/banking.
• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on KRIs and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate risk events, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture across the organization.
