Job summary

Our client, a rapidly expanding international corporation, is seeking a skilled Remote Purchasing Manager to lead strategic sourcing from a distance. You will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings across all spend categories for global operations.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience, with proven negotiation, contract management, and strong virtual communication skills for a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers meeting quality, ethical, and performance standards.
• Negotiate favourable contract terms, pricing, and SLAs with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet procurement needs and deliver solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing guidelines.
