Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of social impact initiatives for a prominent charity. This fully remote role requires strategic planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation across communities worldwide.

You will lead remote teams, define objectives and budgets, and nurture relationships with beneficiaries, partners and donors. A master’s degree and 5+ years in program management are preferred, with growth opportunities in leadership training

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects from conception to completion.
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing management of multiple social impact programs.
• Define program objectives, scope, timelines, and resource allocation in alignment with the client’s mission and strategic goals.
• Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of financial resources.
• Manage and mentor remote project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including beneficiaries, community partners, government agencies, and donors.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular progress reports, impact assessments, and financial updates for senior management and stakeholders.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent charity organization dedicated to making a significant positive impact, is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of social impact initiatives. This is a critical, fully remote role designed for a leader passionate about social good and adept at managing complex projects from a distance. The Program Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of various programs aimed at addressing key societal challenges. This position requires a proactive approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to foster collaboration among remote teams and external partners, ensuring the successful delivery of impactful outcomes for our client across various communities.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide remote teams.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• A master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Administration, International Development, Social Work, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
