Job summary

Cytel Inc. in a fully remote capacity seeks a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer SAS + R to work on sponsor-driven clinical development programs. You will implement SDTM/ADaM specifications, develop SAS/R code, and oversee CRO programmers to ensure high-quality data delivery for regulatory submissions and publications.

The role reports to the Director, Biostatistics and Programming within FSP Services, requiring independent work, strong communication, and leadership across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of statistical programming experience in biotech/pharma clinical development
• Exceptional SAS programming skills with SDTM/ADaM experience
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specs, datasets, define.xmls for multiple studies
• Develop SAS programs for datasets, listings, tables, and graphs
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programming outputs for clinical programs
• Oversee CRO programming deliverables to meet timelines
• Support regulatory submissions, study reports, DSURs and analyses
• Follow FDA/ICH regulations and good clinical practice
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and clinical partners to meet goals
• Review SOPs and work instructions for programming practices
