Placements24 is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing division remotely. You will drive strategy, optimize production planning, and oversee remote teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met across dispersed operations.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 10+ years in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership, and a proven track record in lean Six Sigma, ERP/MES, and data analytics to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations management
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Strong budget and cost control experience
• Proficiency with ERP, MES, and data analytics tools
• Strong strategic planning and remote leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics in a remote setting
• Develop and execute long-term operational strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead and develop remote teams fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet demand
• Manage capital expenditure projects and budgets
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and procurement to align goals
• Advise on adopting new technologies and automation
• Analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Oversee inventory management and supply chain optimization
