Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Pharmaceutical Data Manager to oversee clinical data management for globally distributed trials. The role focuses on maintaining data integrity, developing DMPs, and ensuring GCP/ICH compliance from a fully remote setting.

You will work with international clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams, handling large datasets and advanced validation tools while supporting database lock activities and data transfer to statistical analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management.
• Proficiency in using EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
• Thorough understanding of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Experience in developing data management plans (DMPs) and edit checks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication for remote teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with database programming or statistical software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical data management plans (DMPs).
• Oversee data collection, cleaning, validation, and reconciliation.
• Design and manage clinical databases and EDC systems.
• Collaborate with investigators and internal teams to resolve data queries.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate data management reports and metrics.
• Participate in CRF development and study documents.
• Assist in selecting and implementing data management technologies.
• Provide training to site personnel on data management procedures.
• Support database lock activities and data transition to analysis.
