Placements24 is recruiting a highly experienced Remote Performance Coach to guide athletes worldwide from home, leveraging technology to deliver personalized training, virtual assessments, and ongoing feedback.

You will design comprehensive programs across strength, conditioning, skill development, nutrition, and recovery; use video analysis and tracking tech; and collaborate with support staff to optimize performance from any location.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or certification in Exercise Science, Sports Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a performance coach or related field.
• Proven track record of improving athlete performance.
• Proficiency with virtual coaching platforms and video analysis tools.
• Strong communication and remote interaction skills; biomechanics knowledge.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will leverage technology and virtual communication tools to guide athletes of all levels towards achieving their peak physical and mental performance, regardless of their geographical location. This role involves creating personalized training plans, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a supportive coaching relationship entirely online. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled coach in the Leisure & Sports sector to build a flexible career and impact athletes globally from their home office, without needing to be physically present in Randburg .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customized, comprehensive training programs addressing strength, conditioning, skill development, and injury prevention.

Requirements

• Advanced degree or certification in Exercise Science, Sports Psychology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a performance coach, strength and conditioning coach, or sports psychologist.
• Demonstrated success in improving athlete performance and achieving specific goals.
• Proficiency with virtual coaching platforms, video analysis tools, and fitness tracking technologies.
• Exceptional communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills suited for remote interaction.
• Strong understanding of biomechanics, physiology, and sports-specific training methodologies.
