Cognisys is seeking a Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. You will perform assessments across networks, web apps, APIs, mobile apps and cloud environments, using a mix of automated tools and manual testing to uncover vulnerabilities.

You will communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, produce actionable remediation recommendations, and help clients improve their security posture through well-structured reports and direct engagement.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience conducting penetration testing across networks, web apps, APIs, mobile apps or cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of offensive security methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools alongside manual testing and exploitation techniques.
• Ability to assess risks and potential attack paths from identified vulnerabilities.
• Ability to produce high-quality penetration testing reports with practical remediation recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct penetration testing across network, web app, API, mobile app and cloud environments.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to assess client resilience.
• Use automated tools and manual testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Produce clear reports with risks and remediation steps.
