Placements24 is partnering with a remote pediatric behavioral specialist role serving families in Nelspruit and surrounding areas. You will deliver telehealth interventions for infants to early childhood, focusing on social-emotional development and communication skills.

The position requires a Master’s degree, BCBA credential, 4+ years of pediatric experience, and strong remote engagement skills. You’ll collaborate with families and health professionals through virtual platforms and EHRs.

Formación

• Master's degree in Psychology, Child Development, ABA, or related field.
• BCBA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of pediatric behavioral therapy/early intervention experience.
• Proficient telehealth delivery with remote assessment and intervention.
• Strong knowledge of child development and evidence-based strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct virtual behavioral assessments to identify needs in young children.
• Develop and implement tailored BIPs for remote delivery.
• Provide direct virtual therapy focusing on social-emotional, communication, adaptive behaviors.
• Educate and coach parents on behavior management techniques.
• Monitor and document progress using EHR systems.
• Collaborate with families, pediatricians, educators, and specialists online.
• Stay current with research and best practices in pediatric behavioral therapy.
• Adapt interventions to each family's unique environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to telehealth ethics.
• Contribute to development of parent and professional training resources.
