Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Partnership Development Officer to drive strategic collaborations for a charitable organization. This fully remote role supports initiatives in Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape.

You will identify partners, develop proposals, nurture relationships, and coordinate joint projects, reporting on progress and impact. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation and communication skills and understands the NGO landscape in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in partnership development or strategic alliances in the non-profit sector.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset for collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential partners, including corporations, foundations, government agencies, and NGOs.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships and collaborations.
• Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing partners.
• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit.
• Coordinate joint projects and initiatives with partners to maximize impact and reach.
• Represent our client in relevant networks and at industry events to promote collaborations.
• Monitor and report on the progress and success of partnership activities.
