Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live, one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions in mathematics for grades 7-12 via our virtual classroom platform.
• Develop and customize lesson plans based on individual student needs, learning styles, and curriculum requirements.
• Effectively explain complex mathematical concepts, theories, and formulas using various online tools and visual aids.
• Assess student understanding through interactive questioning, problem-solving exercises, and informal assessments during sessions.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress, identifying areas of strength and areas requiring improvement.
• Collaborate with the academic support team to monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
• A Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a mathematics tutor or teacher, ideally with online or remote instruction experience.
• Strong command of the full spectrum of mathematics curricula for grades 7-12.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
