Job summary

UpCounting is hiring for a remote, multi-client, full-cycle bookkeeper who can manage several client files, each with its own books and deadlines. You will handle reconciliations, A/P, A/R, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close to a five-day close standard, with oversight from an accounting manager or senior accountant.

You must have 3+ years in accounting, QuickBooks Online or Xero experience, and a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounting or bookkeeping in a firm or multi-client environment
• Experience with clients outside your country, ideally US/UK/Canada/Australia
• Full cycle bookkeeping including reconciliations, A/P, A/R, journal entries, accruals and prepaids

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle bookkeeping across a portfolio of client files
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and schedules
• Record payroll entries, prepaids, and accruals accurately
• Prepare sales tax filings and remittances
• Check your own work before review and raise discrepancies early
