Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine complex mechanical systems and components for advanced manufacturing equipment, utilizing sophisticated CAD and simulation tools.
• Conduct in-depth theoretical analysis and advanced FEA to predict performance, identify potential failure modes, and optimize designs for strength, durability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate remotely with internal teams (software, electrical, controls) and external partners to ensure seamless integration and functionality of mechanical systems.
• Provide expert technical consultation and support to manufacturing sites and R&D departments worldwide, addressing complex mechanical challenges.
• Develop and implement robust testing protocols for mechanical components and assemblies, analyzing results to ensure design integrity and performance validation.
• Research emerging technologies and materials to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage in mechanical system design.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, analysis reports, and user manuals.
• Mentor and guide remote junior engineers and technical staff through virtual channels.
• Actively participate in virtual design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong specialization in mechanical systems design and analysis.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Expert proficiency in advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and FEA packages (e.g., ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus).
• Demonstrated experience with system‑level design and integration, understanding the interplay between mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of material science, manufacturing processes (including additive manufacturing), and mechatronics.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
