Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mechanical components and systems for advanced applications using state-of-the-art CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks).
• Conduct rigorous engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, fatigue, and vibration analysis using FEA and other simulation tools.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) that comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a geographically dispersed, cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and project managers via virtual communication tools.
• Oversee and support remote prototyping, testing, and validation efforts, ensuring designs meet performance and reliability targets.
• Research and evaluate new materials and manufacturing processes suitable for advanced applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of remote design workflows and collaboration strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and address potential design risks and challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Exceptional proficiency in 3D CAD software and comprehensive understanding of FEA/CFD analysis tools.
