Placements24 is seeking a proactive Mechanical Engineer to provide remote technical support for maintenance and repair of automotive fleets. You will analyze issues, develop strategies, and coordinate with on-site teams to minimize downtime from your home office.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, 4+ years in automotive engineering or related fields, and strong diagnostic tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive mechanical engineering, maintenance, or technical support.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and diagnostic assistance for mechanical issues on automotive fleets.
• Analyze maintenance data and repair reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and refine maintenance procedures and best practices for automotive mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with fleet managers and on-site technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and implement solutions.
• Specify required repairs and ensure the quality of maintenance work performed.
• Stay current with automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, equipment, and parts for fleet maintenance.
• Assist in the training and development of maintenance personnel.
