Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Logistics Planner to support operations across South Africa from a remote location. You will plan and optimize movement of goods, manage transportation schedules, and collaborate with carriers, distribution centres, and customer service.

The role requires proven experience in logistics planning, knowledge of transport modes, and proficiency with TMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistical data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues such as delays, weather, or carrier capacity constraints.
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the supply chain, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries.
