Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Logistics Analyst to join our growing team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends, and delivering strategic recommendations to improve efficiency and cut costs across national and international operations.

You will build dashboards using Excel, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, create reports for management, model scenarios, and support implementation with logistics managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics analysis or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory, and customs.
• Identify KPIs and develop dashboards to monitor logistics performance.
• Develop and present reports and recommendations to management on how to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Model various logistics scenarios to forecast demand, plan capacity, and assess impact of changes.
• Collaborate with logistics managers and operations teams to implement improvements.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all logistics-related reporting.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in logistics analytics.
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from various departments.
• Assist in the development and refinement of supply chain strategies.
