Job description

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about working on a computer from the comfort of your home? Would you enjoy supporting a dynamic team with structured tasks that help build professional communities? If so, this role is perfect for you!

Start Date: You should be able to start not later than 01.06.2025.

Compensation: Your salary will be based on your location and experience, with a maximum of €2,100 for a 40-hour workweek. Vacation, public holidays, and sick days are covered.

About SAWOO: SAWOO is a fast-growing, remote-first company based in Munich with a 15-person team spread across six countries. We specialize in building and running communities for decision-makers in medium and large companies, helping them grow through collaborative learning and networking. To this end, we organize physical and virtual network meetings, conferences, podcasts, and other networking opportunities for our community members. Our goal is to welcome two million active members to our communities by 2034.

Examples of the communities we run:

You will support our communities and our team by handling repetitive but essential tasks that ensure smooth community operations. Your role focuses on maintaining LinkedIn and email-based workflows and assisting with community management tasks, particularly in acquiring new members for our communities and sparking engagement.

Specific tasks include:

  • Contacting potential community members with pre-written messages via LinkedIn.
  • Sending invitations to potential and existing community members via LinkedIn and email.
  • Responding to incoming LinkedIn comments using templates that you modify based on the situation.
  • Reviewing people who interacted with our content and contacting those who could benefit from being part of our communities via a direct message on LinkedIn.
  • Sending invitations to follow our LinkedIn community pages.
  • Scheduling posts on LinkedIn.
  • Maintaining our community member database (CRM).
  • Error-free work and clean execution: You work with great attention to detail, especially in the LinkedIn communication you send.
  • Performance orientation and efficiency: You are eager to go the extra mile, work swiftly on the computer, and can send as many as 150 pre-formulated messages per hour.
  • Excellent time management: Your time management is outstanding, and you can easily handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Your profile:

  • You speak and write English and German at a minimum C1 level and are highly proficient in spelling and grammar. Speaking French is optional.
  • You are able to start as soon as possible with a 40-hour workweek.
  • You are available during our core working hours—Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM—while arranging your precise working times within a certain range, in agreement with us.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, e.g., as an (office) assistant, support staff, administrator, customer support agent, call center agent, etc.
  • You have previous remote work experience, are skilled with computers and the internet, and have a fast and stable internet connection.
  • Beneficial, but not mandatory, you speak and write German at a minimum C1 level.
  • You are fully committed, proactive, and eager to go the extra mile.
  • You are reliable and work with great attention to detail.
  • You enjoy working under clear guidance, with established processes, and don't mind repetitive tasks.
  • You have advanced experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly Excel or Sheets. You are proficient in tasks such as entering and formatting data, using basic formulas, sorting, and filtering data effectively.
  • You are willing to travel once or twice a year for potential company meetings.
  • Remote-First: We are an exciting international team of 15 people from 6 different nations, thanks to remote work. We support you with any material you need. Nevertheless, we physically meet about 1-2 weeks per year.
