Placements24 is seeking a Lead Smart Contract Auditor to head security initiatives for Stellenbosch-based projects. You will guide a team of auditors, review contracts across blockchain platforms, and safeguard user assets in a remote setting.

You will identify vulnerabilities, refine audit methodologies, and communicate findings to stakeholders. A Master's degree and 5+ years in blockchain security are required, with strong leadership and Solidity expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on smart contract auditing and blockchain security.
• Deep knowledge of Solidity and common vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow) and their exploitation.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Familiar with formal verification techniques and security tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to articulate risks to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of smart contract auditors across audit engagements.
• Perform comprehensive security audits of Solidity contracts.
• Develop and refine audit methodologies and tools for blockchain security.
• Identify and document complex vulnerabilities and risks.
