Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Lead Mobile App Developer to guide a skilled team building high-quality iOS and Android apps. You will shape architecture, set technical standards, and mentor developers in a remote-first environment to deliver performant mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on leadership with deep native development expertise in Swift/Kotlin and familiarity with cross-platform frameworks, driving innovation across the mobile product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
• Extensive mobile development experience with iOS/Android
• Leadership experience in a distributed or remote team

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of iOS and Android developers
• Oversee end-to-end mobile development lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Drive architecture and technical design of new mobile features
• Ensure high-quality, performant mobile apps across platforms
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers remotely
• Establish coding standards, reviews, and best practices
• Identify and address technical debt and bottlenecks
• Stay updated on mobile trends and innovations
• Contribute to strategic roadmap for mobile products
• Troubleshoot complex mobile issues
