Placements24 seeks a Lead Hair Transplant Surgeon & Trichologist to spearhead remote, global hair restoration services from Cape Town. You will guide a dispersed team, set remote consultation protocols, and advance telemedicine practices with FUE/FUT expertise.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in hair restoration and trichology, dermatology/plastic surgery specialization, and board certification in Trichology. This executive, remote role offers significant impact and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

Medical degree with specialization in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery.
Fellowship in Hair Restoration Surgery is required.
Board certification in Trichology or equivalent qualification is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hair transplant surgery and trichology.
Experience leading medical teams, preferably remote or distributed.

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual consultations with patients worldwide to diagnose hair loss conditions and assess suitability for hair transplant procedures.
Develop and refine remote diagnostic tools and patient assessment methodologies.
Oversee a team of remote trichologists and surgical assistants in procedure planning and follow-up care.
Provide expert surgical and non-surgical treatment recommendations including FUE and FUT.
Maintain protocols for pre-operative preparation and post-operative care for remote patients.
Stay updated on global advancements in hair transplant surgery and telemedicine.
Collaborate with technology partners to ensure secure virtual interactions.
Contribute to research in remote patient management strategies.
Ensure compliance with international medical regulations for telemedicine.
