Placements24 seeks a Lead Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to drive the development of innovative drug delivery systems from a remote location. You will lead formulation strategy, guide research efforts, and ensure seamless progression from pre-clinical to clinical development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Strong leadership of formulation projects and mentoring.
• Experience with cGMP and ICH guidelines for drug product development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations (oral, injectable, topical).
• Oversee pre-formulation studies including solubility and stability testing.
• Scale-up formulations to pilot and commercial manufacturing.
• Characterize products using analytical techniques (HPLC, dissolution, particle size).
• Provide scientific leadership to remote team of formulation scientists.
