Placements24 is seeking a Lead AI Solutions Architect in Pretoria to define and drive the company's AI strategy from concept to deployment. You will lead a team of engineers and architects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

The role requires 10+ years in software architecture with AI/ML, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with cloud AI services (AWS/Azure/GCP). You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture with a focus on AI/ML and enterprise-scale solutions.
• Proven track record designing and deploying AI solutions across complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML paradigms including deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
• Expertise with cloud AI services on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data engineering, MLOps, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design robust and scalable AI and ML architectures for enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineers and data scientists.
