Placements24 is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics while leading a remote team. You will develop ML models and predictive analytics, guiding research from concept to production in a remote-first culture.

You will mentor data scientists, collaborate with stakeholders, design experiments, and present insights to diverse audiences, staying ahead of ML and AI advances.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Data Science, Statistics, CS or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data science and ML.
• Proven track record leading data science projects and teams.
• Proficient in Python or R and ML libraries.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling and ML algorithms.
• Experience with Spark/Hadoop and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of ML models and analytical solutions.
• Mentor and manage a team of data scientists.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges for data-driven solutions.
• Develop and implement rigorous statistical analyses and A/B testing frameworks.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with advances in data science, ML, and AI and advocate adoption.
