Placements24 is seeking motivated individuals for a Remote Junior Cloud Engineer Apprenticeship. This fully remote program trains you to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with mentorship from experienced cloud architects.

You will gain hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), container tech (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting, while preparing for cloud certifications. Strong IT fundamentals and a proactive learner will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate required; a tertiary qualification in IT is beneficial.
• Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, OS).
• Exposure to or strong interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong self-discipline and ability to work effectively remotely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and pursue cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
