Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Operations Apprentice to join a fully remote team, gaining hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with exposure to system administration and DevOps practices.

You will learn server provisioning, automation, and security, while collaborating with DevOps to optimize performance and reliability, and documenting technical processes.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Strong interest in cloud computing and IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and networking.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) are advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be self-motivated.
