Our client is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist for a fully remote role, supporting operations across the Gauteng region and beyond. You will manage inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and analyze data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems, and strong analytical and communication skills for remote teamwork, including collaboration with manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records within the company's inventory management system.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and optimize stock levels, minimizing both stock-outs and overstock situations.
• Develop and implement effective inventory control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and support business objectives.
