Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science or related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 6+ years in insurance product development or related strategic role in financial services.
• Strong understanding of SA insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of new insurance products from concept to launch.

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking insurance provider, is actively seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Insurance Product Developer to join their organization. This position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and launching new insurance products that meet evolving market demands and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, marketing, sales, and legal, to bring cutting-edge products to market. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance principles, market analysis, and product lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of new insurance products from concept to launch.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance product development, management, or a similar strategic role within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated success in launching new insurance products.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments across South Africa.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment using collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
