The ideal candidate has proven claims experience in insurance, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with claims management software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Specialist or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive client interactions.
• Experience with claims management software and standard office tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, and manage insurance claims from initiation to closure.
• Conduct investigations to determine claim validity, coverage, and liability.
• Assess damages and negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties.
• Maintain detailed records in the claims management system.
• Communicate updates and explanations to policyholders with empathy.
