Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Information Security Analyst to join a distributed security operations center. You will monitor security systems, analyze threats, investigate incidents, and contribute to improving the organization’s security posture from a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has SOC/ security analysis experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor network traffic and security logs using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate security alerts, perform root cause analysis for security incidents, and coordinate response efforts.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security incidents, procedures, and security best practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely remediation.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry trends to proactively enhance security measures.
