About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Remote Industrial Production Engineer to support their manufacturing operations from a distance. This role is dedicated to optimizing production processes, improving output, and ensuring quality standards are met, all managed through remote collaboration. You will work closely with on-site production teams, leveraging data analysis and engineering expertise to implement improvements and solve production challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and processes remotely to identify opportunities for increased output and reduced costs.
• Develop and propose process improvements, equipment modifications, and workflow adjustments to on-site teams.
• Collaborate virtually with production supervisors, operators, and maintenance staff to implement and troubleshoot solutions.
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions based on process changes.
• Monitor production performance metrics remotely and provide regular reports and recommendations.
• Assist in the planning and execution of production line changes or upgrades, providing remote engineering support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production engineering or industrial engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and quality control systems.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to production challenges.
