Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Industrial Process Optimization Engineer to enhance their manufacturing and operational efficiency remotely, supporting teams in the Soweto and surrounding Gauteng areas. This fully remote role requires an analytical mind and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements. You will leverage data analysis, simulation tools, and lean principles to drive significant gains in productivity, quality, and cost reduction, working collaboratively with on-site teams through virtual communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement optimized workflows and production systems using simulation and modeling tools.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineers, and operational staff to implement and sustain process changes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and recommend further optimization strategies.

Requirements
